This ABS brake line adapter is used in conjunction with an ABS Designer Series Upper Brake Line to connect the lower brake line to the master cylinder.  Adapters, Upper Brake Lines, and Lower Brake line kits are sold separately. 

For 2018-24 Softail Single-Disc ABS Applications:

• Only an ABS Designer Upper Brake Line and an ABS adapter are required for a handlebar change.  An ABS Designer Lower Brake Line is optional.
• Upper line length for single-disc Softail models is determined by using your stock OE master cylinder brake line as a guide. Measure from the lower brake line manifold where the upper line is attached.  Follow the routing up to your master cylinder.  Subtract 1.5" and round up to the next even number.  (See the measuring information below.)

For 2018-24 Softail Dual-Disc ABS Applications:

• If purchasing a Magnum Designer Series dual-disc lower and upper brake line, an adapter is not needed.  The upper line will connect directly to the lower brake line.
• Upper line length for connecting to OE dual-disc Softail manifolds is determined by using your stock OE master cylinder brake line as a guide. Measure from the lower brake line manifold where the upper line is attached.  Follow the routing up to your master cylinder.  Subtract 1.5" and round up to the next even number.  (See the measuring information below.)
