All braided brake lines, hoses, fuel hoses, ignition wires, and all other specialty braided brake lines we manufacture in-house are all coated in a clear protective jacket of FEP Fluoropolymer or PVC. Using the latest technology and specialized tooling, our extruding department maintains exacting specifications to create continuity among all our products.

- Magnum Shielding's premiere product line, and our most popular color of braided control cables and braided brake lines, is our Sterling Chromite II (SCII).
- SCII is a patented braid designed to look like chrome.
- We offer a family of braided products manufactured to exactly match in color and weave for most Harley Davidson control cables, braided brake lines, hose and ignition wires, and some metric motorcycle control cables.
- All our control cables and brake lines feature crystal clear outer coverings made of FEP Fluoropolymer or modified PVC. These high tech outer jackets will never discolor and offer excellent protection against scuffing your paint.
- All of our products are proudly manufactured in the USA at our Upstate New York facility.
- All cables and braided brake lines are designed to exceed OE specifications for appearance, construction, and fitment. Our braided brake line assemblies for Harley brake lines meet all FMVSS-106 requirements, including our BYO "Build Your Own" Brake Lines, which are offered in a standard stainless steel or black braid (BYO selections do not include SCII, Black Pearl, or Polished Stainless colors).
- All control cables and brake lines are offered in stock and alternative lengths from -2" up to +12", in most motorcycle platforms, and allows the customer ease of ordering for extended length applications.
- All fittings for SCII are plated with brilliant chrome.
- Another popular brand of braided control cables and brake lines is our patented Black Pearl products. This product uses jet black wire for the braid rather than simply a smoked outer plastic jacket over stainless wire. This results in a deeper, truer black appearance.
- All our Black Pearl control cables and braided brake lines feature crystal clear outer coverings made of modified PVC. This high tech outer jacket will never discolor and offers excellent protection against scuffing your paint. And with the black braiding underneath, the coating gives it a "pearlized", carbon fiber look.
- All our Black Pearl products have matching fittings that are manufactured with real black chrome plating and will not fade or turn color.
- Black Pearl is a family of braided control cables for most Harley Davidson motorcycles that are manufactured to exactly match in color and weave. This product is also available for some metric motorcycle applications but would have to be ordered as a custom cable.
- All control cables and brake lines are offered in stock and alternative lengths from -2" up to +12", in most motorcycle platforms, and allows the custommer ease of ordering for extended length applications.

Throttle Cable
- Hidden nylon inserts & cable liners act as bearing surfaces along the entire length of the cable. Providing 1,000,000+ cycles of smooth reliable drag-free operation.
- Polished Chrome and Stainless Steel fittings. Black Pearl has black-chrome plated fittings.
- Factory pre-lubricated with PTFE lubricant.
- Available in -2" +2" +4" +6" +8" +10" and +12" lengths.
Ignition Wires
- High voltage, high temperature 8MM silicone ignition wire.
- OE style (Screaming Eagle™) Hi-Performance conductor core guarantees compatibility with all H-D ignition systems.
- Heavy duty clear dielectric FEP fluoropolymer outer insulation eliminates the need for grounding wires.
Clutch Cable
- All fittings are polished and chrome plated. Black Pearl has black-chrome plated fittings.
- All cables are made with anti-friction inner liners, nylon adjuster inserts, and are factory lubricated for smooth & consistent long lasting operation.
- Rubber seal in transmission fitting eliminates fluid leaks.
- Factory pre-lubricated with PTFE lubricant.
- Also available in -2" +2" +4" +6" +8" +10" and +12" lengths.
Braided Brake Lines
- Inner PTFE tubing with 100% Kevlar coverage provides the ultimate in high performance by greatly reducing line expansion for excellent brake control and safety ratings.
- All fittings are highly polished and chrome plated. Black Pearl has black-chrome plated fittings.
- Exceeds all DOT FMVSS-106 specifications.
- Industry unique design does not require strain relief collars.
- Also available in many alternative lengths.
Oil Lines
- This product line is no longer available except on our Clearance page in smaller, varied sizes.
GLO colors
- Special process adds a subtle glowing iridescent color to the chrome SCII appearance.
- Please contact Customer Service at 877-564-8248 for samples of the Glo Colors prior to placing an order.
- Matches any color without clashing and actually appears to take on the color of the tank and fenders.
- Perfectly matches the color and weave of all other Magnum GLO cables and lines. Available in control cables and brake lines. GLO colors not available in ignition wires or hose products.
