Shipping Policy

Magnum Shielding will always make its best effort to ship your order as quickly as possible. However, even if our Customer Service gives you a suggested ship date, we cannot guarantee a specific shipping date from receipt of order (including expedited shipping requests). Our standard manufacturing time for processing orders may take up to 5 business days, excluding holidays.  Also, please allow additional time for shipping transit time per the below reference guide.  You can contact info@magnumshielding.com for ship date details pertaining to your order.

Magnum will ship to any address in the United States and Canada by UPS . For international orders and APO addresses, the web site does not offer US Postal Service as a shipping option. If you wish to purchase our Magnum product, and are out of the continental United States, you can contact us at info@magnumshielding.com and we will process your order through e-mail and phone communications. This will allow us to ship to you via the US Postal Service. All international shipping options will be reviewed and approved by the customer prior to the order being processed. Any shipment that is made via US Postal will be sent with insurance added, at the customers expense. This added expense will be approved by the customer prior to the order going to production.

Below is a quick reference guide for approximate shipping times when your order leaves from our factory in Upstate New York.  The below schedule is not a guarantee by Magnum Shielding and may be affected by adverse weather conditions and/or holiday seasons. Errors and damage made by UPS handlers are not warranted by Magnum Shielding. The customer will need to take up any error and damage issues with their local UPS company.

Shipping Charges

Shipping and handling charges will be based on the weight of your order, the carton size, and distance shipped. 

Parts Damaged in Shipping, Parts received Defective, and Parts shipped in Error

Magnum must be notified within thirty (30) business days of the original ship date of a shipment that has been determined to contain damaged, incorrect, or defective items. It is advisable to phone Magnum Shielding as soon as possible as issues can usually be resolved more quickly over the phone. The phone number is (585) 381-8380.

  1. If you choose a refund for the part, we will refund your shipping and handling expenses for a part sent to you in error, received defective or damaged in shipping. This refund will be automatically credited upon receipt and inspection of the part. If only a portion of your order is returned, the refund for shipping costs will be prorated.
  2. If you choose to exchange the part for a duplicate, you will not be responsible for the shipping and handling charges on the replacement part. Shipping and handling charges on the original part will be applied to the replacement: they will not be refunded. Exchanges for unlike parts require a refund and new purchase,
  3. We will also pay for the return shipping to Magnum for a part sent to you in error, received defective or damaged on shipping. If you believe you qualify for return shipping, you must e-mail us at info@magnumshilding.com or call us at (585) 381-8380 before attempting to return the part.

Return Policy for non-defective merchandise

  1. 1. A restocking fee of 25% will be charged for stock and alternative length cables, brake lines & other products found in our product listings that have been ordered in error by the customer and returned for alternate items. However, such returns are acceptable and valid only with prior expressed approval in writing from Magnum Shielding, along with a valid RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. The product needs to be unused in order for any credit or partial credit to be applied and must be returned to Magnum within 30 days of the RMA number being assigned.
  2. We will not accept returns, or process refunds, for any custom orders manufactured per customer instructions. However, for custom orders that are ordered in error, we will offer the following remedy. If the item can be altered, the item can be returned at the customer’s expense. Upon receipt and factory inspection, we will e-mail or call the customer with the cost of altering the item and the timeframe for it begin altered and shipped. If approved by the customer, a credit card will be charged for the work as well as a return shipping and handling charge. No custom cables can be returned for a full refund unless a warranty issue is approved by our Quality Control department.
  3. When shipping the merchandise, insure the package if the contents value exceeds $100. Magnum will not be held responsible for returns lost in transit from the customer to Magnum Shielding. Make sure to retain all postal, UPD, FedEx, or other, tracking numbers. All returns must be prepaid: we cannot accept COD returns.

The following requirements must be satisfied in order to receive a credit, refund, or to exchange merchandise.

  1. Call to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number before the parts are returned. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the shipping carton on or adjacent to the address label.
  2. Return the merchandise to Magnum within 30 calendar days of receiving the RMA.
  3. When shipping the merchandise, insure the package if the contents value exceeds $100.  Make sure to retain all postal, UPD, FedEx, or other, tracking numbers. All returns must be prepaid: we cannot accept COD returns.
  4. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase invoice and a note explaining the reason for the return.
  5. Under no circumstances shall altered, abused, used, scratched, scuffed, or otherwise non-resellable merchandise be eligible to be returned for credit..
  6. We will not process or ship a replacement part before first receiving the returned part.
Return Policy for Defective Merchandise

This will apply only to product purchased directly through this Web site. All other product must be returned to the Dealer, distributor, or retail establishment from which it was purchased.

Upon notification, Magnum will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. The product must then be returned to Magnum Shielding for inspection by our quality control department. If the product is deemed to be defective regarding either materials or manufacturing defects and was purchased within a one year period of time, credit or replacement will be available with proof of purchase. Magnum will not be expected to manufacture and ship any replacements for defective products without first having said product that the customer considers to be defective returned for inspection and determination, even if critical timing is a factor.

Any parts returned will be subject to inspection to determine the refund amount for the merchandise and shipping costs. This amount may be less than the original payment based on the condition of the returned part(s). Magnum retains the right to disallow any returns that our manufacturing and quality control departments deem as a non-warranty issue.
