Designer ABS brake kits allow the user to have brake lines that match all other Magnum Shielding products. The design of these kits make it possible to change the handlebars on ABS equipped motorcycles by splitting the line that goes to the master cylinder.
Our ABS system is comprised of three separate kits that all work in conjunction with each other. The first part of the system is the Designer Lower Brake kit. This is a complete brake line assembly that connects both calipers to the ABS controller.
The second ABS kit or component of the system is the Designer Mid Line kit. This brake line runs from the ABS controller to the fairing or nacelle and provides a hidden connection in the brake line that runs to the master cylinder.
The third and final ABS part is the Designer Upper brake line kit that connects the Designer Mid Line to the master cylinder. The user can choose any of the upper brake lines from our vast selection to fit the stock handle bar fitment or to adjust for a handlebar change that would require longer or shorter length brake lines. For any subsequent handlebar changes, only the upper line would need to be changed.

Our non-ABS two-piece design allows easier and less costly brake line changes when installing new handlebars - simply replace the upper line.
