  • Features an all brazed construction in polished chrome which eliminates leaks, alignment problems, and bulky threaded connections at the puck.
  • Direct bolt-on lower assembly, in conjunction with alternative length upper lines, makes for easy custom installation.
  • Magnum Shielding Designer ABS brake kits allow the user to have ABS brake lines for touring models that match all other Magnum Shielding Sterling Chromite II, Polished Stainless and Black Pearl products. The design of these kits make it possible to economically change the handlebars on ABS equipped motorcycles by splitting the line that goes to the master cylinder.
  • The ABS system is comprised of three separate kits that all work in conjunction with each other. The first part of our ABS system
    is the Designer Lower Brake kit. This is a complete brake line assembly
    that connects both calipers to the ABS controller.
  • The second ABS kit, or component of the system, is the Designer Mid Line kit.
    This brake line runs from the ABS controller to the fairing or nacelle and provides a hidden
    connection in the brake line that runs to the master cylinder. This mid-line is required (in conjunction with the Upper Designer Brake Line) in order to complete your upper portion of the ABS brake lines.
  • The third and final ABS part is the Designer Upper Brake Line
    kit that connects the Designer Mid-Line to the master cylinder. The user
    can choose any of the upper brake lines from our vast selection to fit the
    stock handle bar fitment or to adjust for a handlebar change that would
    require longer or shorter length brake lines. For any subsequent handlebar
    changes, only the upper line would need to be changed.
  • Our "Search by Bike" area will show you what ABS Lower Designer, ABS Mid-Line, and ABS Upper Designer brake lines are needed for the stock application for your year, make, and model of bike.
  • Please follow the Harley Davidson service manual for proper brake bleeding instructions. Because these instructions vary from bike to bike, we do not supply this bike-specific information with our kits. Special tools or equipment may be needed to complete the bleeding operation. Failure to properly install and/or bleed the brake system could lead to brake-system damage and/or possible failure. Follow the service manual instructions carefully when installing.
  • Our non-ABS two-piece design allows easier and less costly brake line changes when installing new handlebars - simply replace the upper line.
  • Non-ABS upper line length is determined by measuring the routing path from the top of the lower triple tree to the master cylinder. ABS upper line lengths are determined by measuring the routing path from the ferrings to the master cylinder.
  • Meets all FMVSS-106 specifications.

  • This industry new design safely eliminates brake line routing kink due to incorrectly clocked banjo fittings on alternative length brake lines.

  • The mid-line swivel-fitting is strategically positioned to hide under the lower triple-tree and held in place with a special clamp provided with each line.
